Brook Trout Chalet is a two bedroom and two bathroom vacation home that is nestled in a quaint woodland area that backs up to a stream filled with Trout making this an ideal fishing retreat.
This rental is the perfect combination of rustic log cabin living and sleek modernity. With a luxurious living room decorated in charming neutrals guests can gather around the gas fireplace on the plush sofa and ottomans creating the perfect meeting ground for a movie or game night. The dining room is decorated with wood paneling walls enhancing the cabin feel with floor to ceiling windows offering beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains and sounds of the bubbling creek just outside. This open concept cottage flows from the main living space into the fully stocked kitchen with a designated breakfast nook and bench seating for another perfect gathering space.
The 2 bedrooms are both located on the second floor with the main bedroom having a queen-size bed and the second bedroom having two queen size beds in a sloped ceiling room with wood paneling and french doors opening up to the upper deck. Both of the bedrooms are decorated in an inviting and homey fashion solidifying the rustic but updated feel of the property.
For added convenience there is an additional room with a daybed and the sofa in the living room can open up making this vacation spot conducive to up to 9 guests. Both floors have a full bathroom in order to comfortably house all guests.
To fully immerse oneself in a fishing expedition this cabin comes with a unique feature to allow guests to completely unwind. The lack of internet and WIFI makes the home a truly unique experience in this day and age and allows guests to fully unplug and relax. But do not worry about your boredom aside from the ideal fishing location this house also comes with a four person hot tub for the ultimate rejuvenation destination.
To continue to fully experience a vacation unplugged in the mountains visitors should be sure to check out the Great Smoky National Park. Here guests can go to other great fishing spots, hiking trails, waterfalls, rafting or floating. While adventuring guests should be sure to keep an eye out for the native wildlife from black bras to elk.
However, if the lack of the connection at the lodgings or isolation in the mountains does not seem appealing, guests can be comforted that the Brook Trout Chalet accommodations are only a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg. We had a great time on our vacation! The kids loved having the small creek to play in right by the cabin. We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and it was great to be able to cook some of our meals at night and breakfast each morning and have room to all sit at the table. Aside from the very small and steep staircase we were not anticipating, everything was great! It is located close to town so navigating to our daily outings was super easy.
We absolutely loved Brook Trout Chalet. My kids played in the creek that ran in front of the house every single day. I, however, used the hot tube every night after hiking the trails in the Smoky Mountains. The house is about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg and the park, which makes restaurants easily accessible. We will definitely be returning in the future. I am sure the scenery in the fall is absolutely beautiful.
