Looking for a cabin in the mountains for your next big trip? Look no further than Cozy Bear Lodge, a three bedroom and three-bathroom lodge, can sleep up to 12 people making this the ideal location for your family or friend reunion trip to the Smoky Mountains.
The spacious and sunny main living room is decorated in warm hues to accent the beautiful wooden floors, walls, and ceilings in modern but elegant furnishings from the bohemian rug to the red leather couches. In the adjacent dining area, there is a large dining room table that can easily seat up to 10 people making it a great gathering spot for not only meals but also board games and cards.
The kitchen comes fully stocked with updated appliances giving guests the ability to create any home cooked meals they might need. However, if you prefer to eat out feel free to use the fridge to store those leftovers and maybe a bottle of wine or two to help you unwind after a long day.
There is one bedroom located on each of three floors that comes with a king size bed and its own en-suite bathroom making your hectic mornings trying to get out of the house just a little easier. The rooms also come with a TV and DVD player as well as a door that opens onto a deck or balcony so everyone can enjoy their morning cup of coffee in the mountain breeze. The two sofas in the great room as well as the one on the lower level open into more sleeping spaces giving your group all the flexibility for bedroom arrangements.
As you settle into Cozy Bear Lodge, you’ll be delighted by the rear decks that look out toward the Great Smoky Mountains giving off beautiful tree top views. There you can find plenty of seating, including rockers and a swing, from which you soak up the beauty and tranquility of the view.
You can stargaze in the seven-person hot tub while you unwind from your day of adventures in the mountains. If you are over the outdoors, head downstairs to the game room to shoot some pool on the full-size table. If pool’s not your game then sit back and enjoy your favorite movie on the 42-inch flat-panel TV.
Although Cozy Bear Lodge has endless entertainment and amenities, it is still only a short drive from Gatlinburg creating the perfect location and ideal vacation spot. In downtown Gatlingburg be sure to stop by the unique experience of Anakeesta, the outdoor entertainment complex which includes ziplining through the mountains, gondola rides, and treetop play areas for activities for all ages.
Also located directly downtown in Gatlinburg is the Great Smoky Mountain Arts and Crafts community with over 100 studios, galleries, and craft stores all celebrating mountain life in Tennessee. To continue with the mountain experience offered from the views in the lodging, check out the Great Smoky National Park and be sure to hike, fish, bike, horseback ride, or raft the trees, waterfalls, and historic cabins.
