This rustic-yet modern rental is aptly named, "Simply Unforgettable," beginning with walking up to the front door. A wooden bridge walkway guides you up to the entrance of your weekend home-away-from-home. Upon stepping inside, you are greeted by a spacious layout that is awash in natural light. Large windows adorn every wall of every room, never depriving you of the beautiful Tennessee scenery. Relax right away in the lodge living room in front of the fireplace and catch the game on the wide flat screen TV, or take a peek into the kitchen. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and a full-sized refrigerator if you decide to entertain your guests with a home cooked meal or snacks for game-night. (But don't forget to check out some of the local hotspots!)
If you are the 1st to arrive at this beautiful vacation home, you will have your pick of many sleeping spots. The main level master suite includes a king-size bed with a fireplace near the foot of the bed as well as a door leading outside to the private deck with a hot tub. The Master bathroom also doesn't disappoint, including a Jacuzzi tub and washer and dryer. If you prefer the view from the loft, claim your spot in the king-size bed that overlooks the Gatlinburg forests. If there are still more guests, no sweat. The loft's sofa can be folded out into a twin bed and the main living room couch also folds out into a queen mattress.
Whether it's a family getaway or a relaxing vacation with friends, this cozy yet modern cabin has all the accommodations and amenities you could ask for.
While there are plenty of activities nearby to keep you occupied if a rainy day interrupts your plans for leaving the cottage, no fear! You will have no reason to be bored. The upstairs loft doubles as a bedroom, and a game room.
Challenge your companions to a lively game of pool or indulge your sense of nostalgia with a multi-player arcade game. If that still seems too strenuous, venture out to the cabin's deck and ease yourself into the hot tub that overlooks a lush forest scene.
If the back deck and hot tub are overcrowded, relax on the front porch and enjoy the serene quiet of the Tennessee mountains.
With the peaceful forest surrounding your cozy cabin, it's hard to believe that you are so close to the lively but quaint town of Gatlinburg. There is plenty of food to try and shops to visit. Good luck trying it all! If cooking breakfast seems like too much of a chore, score a towering tower of fluffy pancakes from the Pancake Peddler or a freshly fried cinnamon cake donut at the donut Friar. Once lunch rolls around Make sure to try the local BBQ scene at Hungry Bear BBQ #1 or try something a little more international at Smokies Cuban Cafe. If you wonder where the locals like to frequent, make sure you stop in at The Three Jimmy's for a delicious twist on all your comfort food favorites. Need a libation to wash it all down, stop in at the Ole Smoky distillery for a local spirit or sample an array of wines at the Smoky Mountain Winery.
Work off your culinary adventures by visiting the downtown shops on the strip, or take your pick of the many museums and attractions. Visit Ripley's believe it or not to explore an array of interactive exhibits, complete with a breathtaking Aquarium and a mirror maze. If your brain needs some exercise, checkout Gatlin's Escape Games and see if your group has the brains to beat the clock. If shopping is more your speed, there's plenty of unique stores on the strip, such as the Smoky Mountain Spinnery, the largest spinning and weaving shop in the southeast, or The Gatlin-burlier Tobacconist. There is also an array of local art galleries that showcase art from the area, and you can even try your hand at pottery at Fowlers Clayworks.
In need of a little more adventure? Take-on of the 30 courses at Gatlin's Rugged Ropes course or explore the Treetop Skywalk and zip line courses at the Anakeesta adventure park. Ober Gatlinburg is another great way to burn some adventure dreams, featuring a mountain coaster, year-round ice-skating, and tubing during the summer.
If you still want to get outdoors but aren't a fan of waterparks or roller coasters, checkout the Hillbilly Golf course or head into The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, open all year round. Hike the many trails through the mountains, either by foot or horseback, or grab your gear and see if you can snag one of trout that swim the clear waters.
