Welcome to Sweet Blessings, resembling a Swiss chalet more than a Smoky Mountain cabin, Sweet Blessings features a large deck with a mountain view, a towering sloped ceiling, and a warm, welcoming ambience.

Whether you plan to ski, hike, or check out all the attractions of downtown Gatlinburg, you’ll find Sweet Blessings is a splendid home base. This place is truly nothing short of spectacular.

Sleeping Arrangements: Sleeps six comfortably with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom includes a log-frame queen size bed. One bedroom is on the main floor, while the second is tucked up in the loft.

If you have extra guests, you can open the living room’s sofa; it converts to a queen size bed. Both bathrooms have fresh towels and linens. All of the beds are luxuriously made with extra bedding to use as needed.

Unique Features

Fortunately, the deck is furnished so that you can spend hours outdoors. If you stay at Sweet Blessings in the summer, you’ll have free access to Chalet Village’s outdoor swimming pool. Enjoy breakfast at the picnic table while wrens and warblers greet the day; sip a warm bedtime tea under the stars while nestled in one of the comfortable Adirondack chairs. The vistas are so glorious and the surroundings so serene, you’ll find it hard to believe just how close you are to everything from mountain coasters to restaurants.

The cabin’s interior is just as restful. The wood planked arched ceiling gives the great room an airy, welcoming vibe, which is enhanced in winter by the golden glow of the fireplace. Once you sink into the plush sofa or one of the two comfortable recliners, you might never want to get back up. Luckily there’s a flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player to keep you entertained, along with free WiFi.

When it comes to dining, you have numerous options. A mass assortment of restaurants, offering everything from seafood to Italian to fondue, are just a short drive away. You can also dine either on the deck or in the front room’s dining area. Four people can comfortably sit at the round dining table, and two more can post up to the adjoining breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, whether you’re hosting a holiday feast or whipping up margaritas to enjoy by moonlight.

Things To Do

All within a ten minute drive, a visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a must; you can discover its wildlife, wildflowers, and waterfalls on foot, on bike, on horseback, or by car. Also close by is Ober Gatlinburg, where you can ski and snowboard its slopes in winter and enjoy rides, ice-skating, and a wildlife exhibit year-round.

The attractions of downtown Gatlinburg include the Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, mini golf, and arcades. Also nearby are the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster and the Wild Bear Falls indoor water park.

Reviews

The cabin has an amazing view of the mountains! It's very comfortable!
Just far enough from town (5 min) to offer the tranquillity of the woods, but close enough to enjoy all the perks Gatlinburg has to offer. Steep incline to get to the cabin by road but all paved so no issues.
The property was very well maintained and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back again.
We are a senior couple(75 years old) and loved staying at Sweet Blessings! We would warn others that there are a lot of stairs leading from the parking spot to the deck. Could be difficult for Seniors. Would recommend this homey cabin home.
