Downstairs is the second kitchen, part of the game room. In addition to a full size pool table and a foosball table, the game room also includes a dining area and a large sitting area with its own flat screen TV. This setup provides maximum versatility: The whole gang can hang out together, or if you’re vacationing with another family, you can each enjoy private meals and quiet time on your own. It really is the best of all worlds!
Sleeping Arrangements at Take it Easy: With three bedrooms and three bathrooms it sleeps twelve comfortably. Each of the three bedrooms includes a king-size bed, a TV, and its own full bathroom. The loft bedroom has bunk beds as well as a king size bed. One of the sofas in the living room opens into a bed for two, as does a couch in the game room.
What features make this cabin truly a special place? For starters some of the favorite amenities include an outdoor hot tub, a home theater, and a pool table. Its two wraparound decks offer panoramic views of the woodlands, yet the cabin is just a five minute drive to the Pigeon Forge Parkway. And possibly the most exciting of all, with two full kitchens and dining areas, Take It Easy is especially well suited for two families vacationing together.
The luxurious front room makes up most of Take It Easy’s main floor. And what an exceptional room it is, with a towering high ceiling, shiny wood-planked walls and floor, and large windows to let in plenty of sunshine. The two roll-arm sofas by the fireplace are sure to be popular spots for relaxing with a hot cocoa in winter or for watching TV after a day spent at Dollywood.
The luxurious living room also surrounds the main dining area. Six can sit at the dining table, and four more can cozy up to the breakfast bar. On the other side of the breakfast bar is the main kitchen. Open and roomy, it is well equipped with just about every appliance, gadget, pot, and pan you could possibly need.
Lastly, downstairs is the home theater. There are enough cinema-style seats for everyone to kick back and enjoy a movie together, with surround sound to enhance the experience. If you get thirsty or need more popcorn, you can help yourself in the downstairs kitchen rather than run upstairs to the main floor.
As you relax with friends on the deck while the mountain breeze rustles through the trees, you might find it hard to believe that Take It Easy is just five minutes from the attraction-packed Pigeon Forge Parkway.
This means you can get to everything from Dollywood to the Alcatraz East Crime Museum, the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster to dinner theaters, in a flash.
The cabin is also less than a half-hour from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg, whose attractions include Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, and Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area.

The cabin was perfect, we had 3 families staying and everyone had their own private space with full bathrooms on each floor. The grandchildren loved the movie room.
Myself and my family had a great weekend at Take It Easy. The accommodations were perfect for our extended family of 8! The "twenty somethings" enjoyed the game room downstairs while the "older" adults enjoyed the Great Room relaxing and drinking some wine in the quieter atmosphere upstairs. My daughter and son-in-law and my infant grandson had the loft area (3rd floor) which was perfect for the little one to get away from the hustle and bustle and take his naps! Overall a wonderful set up for us!
Very nice cabin - only minor issues such as loose handrails on stairways, light bulbs that need replacing, wish there were rocking chairs on the first level porch but we understand that they could be easily stolen — great location which is very close to town but far enough away for quietness and relaxation — parking however is very limited — enjoyed staying in a cabin on a dead end road with very little traffic — beautiful cabin indeed!!
