Experience cabin time in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Relax on the 3-side large wraparound deck with breath-taking views. Guests love the hot tub on the elevated gazebo. From the moment you walk into the vacation home, you’ll notice the massive cathedral ceilings, open floor plan, and the stacked stone wood burning fireplace. The living room opens to the deck that has 4 rocking chairs, 4 iron chairs, a table, a wood hanging swing, and lounge chair. There’s a mini bridge that connects the deck to the elevated gazebo (hot tub).
The kitchen space contains a breakfast bar, electric range w/ oven, full size refrigerator and freezer, utensils, blender, etc. Upstairs in the master bedroom is a hand crafted king size tree bed.
Sleeping arrangements: 1 loft bedroom and 1 downstairs bedroom. 1 king bed and 1 queen bed. Plus a sleeper sofa.
Throughout the Mountain Laurel, you’ll find hand crafted carvings and unique decor. In the master bedroom, there’s a heart shaped jacuzzi for two. Mountain Laurel is one of the many rentals at the Wildflower Mountain Rentals Resort. We also have bed and breakfasts, chalet for large groups, smaller cottages, and wedding facilities.
Local events/activities include the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg where you can pet the rays, winery tours, and fly fishing in the Smokies. Many of our guests enjoy self guided hiking treks in the Great Smokey Mountains.
Looking for an adventure? Zipline through the Smokies over forests and rivers. Go whitewater rafting on one of the many nearby rivers (Nantahala River, Pigeon River, French Broad River, etc.) Because you book directly with us, the local property manager, we can answer questions you have about the area.
Try fly-fishing the Smoky Mountains for brook trout and rainbow trout. Visit the 3 wineries in the area. Ask us where you can see 40 peaks and over 6000 feet in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Take a break from cooking at the cabin and enjoy a fun dinner show. Dollywood's old-time wooden roller coaster is popular with families.
