It’s just a short drive to Ethridge and Granny’s Amish Welcome Center and Wagon Tours. Take an old-fashioned horse-draw buggy tour through this thriving Amish community and experience a way of life that hasn’t changed much for 100 years. Visit the old farmhouse museum and school house, and then shop for fresh bakery items, jams, and seasonal vegetables. When you return home to the lodge, you’ll be stocked up to make a delightful supper.
Reserve time with one the plantation area guides to take you out on the land with its hiking trails through the woods, across the creek, and over the ridge tops. Or perhaps you’d just like to relax and read, sketch, or write your next novel. After a day in the woods, enjoy fantastic food and hospitality.
Even if your vacation does not include a hunting adventure, your group will still enjoy this rustic lodge that is surrounded by campsites and hiking trails. We are now open year round so you can explore the grounds and play in the creek. Lawrence County is also a fisherman’s paradise: the lakes and beautiful Shoal Creek are known for smallmouth and largemouth bass, black perch and catfish. We recommend 325 acre Laurel Hill Lake if you want to combine your hunting and Bass fishing. Laurel Hill Wildlife Management Area is a birdwatching destination and also has horseback riding trails.

Thank you for such a great time at your place! I can't say enough great things about my experience with you and your crew. I truly had a great hunt that will be cherished for a lifetime! I cannot wait to visit the ranch again next year. I made a vid to share my hunt with all my friends, check it out below! Japheth Sims
My son booked our hunting trip at Windsor Woods Hunting Plantation for November 2016. It was our first time there and it was just great! The lodge is beautiful and very comfortable. John Henry makes you feel at home, he is very welcoming and shared some great stories with us! He cooked dinner every night which was a real treat and he's a really good cook! The guides Phillip and Mike were great too! Even though we didn't get a deer we really did have a great time. The land is absolutely beautiful and believe me I know first-hand, I think I walked every inch of it! We would definitely book another hunt there in the future.
John Henry is a true gentleman and very nice to be around, always a smile and a pleasant word, definitely makes you feel right at home. Maybe we will see you all again in the new year! Thanks again for an absolute wonderful time! Susan and John (Florida/New York)
John Henry, we had a wonderful time! Thank you so much, we are looking forward to seeing you in November and know we will have a great hunt! Tony and John (Florida)
Hunting is great and the lodge is gorgeous! I've hunted Windsor Woods since the second year of its existence! Gary (Knoxville)
I didn't know what to expect as I never paid to hunt before. Mr. Chrysler assigned me to my stand and told me what area to watch. Two and a half hours later, I had shot a ten point deer. Mr. Chrysler sure knows his stuff! I am tickled pink! Earl (Nashville)
We don't leave home often and this was a special trip because myself and one of by boys had birthdays on our hunting dates. My. Chrysler surprised us with a birthday cake our first night there. The food was great, lodging fantastic, and Mr. Chrysler is living proof that Southern Hospitality is alive and well. Jennifer and the Boys (Tellico Plains)
John, Kirby and Donnie, thanks for a great couple of days with y'all. Larry, Scott and I had a great time. You did truly make us feel like your family. Terry

14 years ago Windsor Woods was only a dream. This dream has turned into “A Garden of Eden.” One of the 2 owners has harvested over 300 deer in several states and see’s Windsor Woods as a true hunting paradise.
