This fully renovated unit features a new kitchen with a microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, range, washer and dryer, tableware, dishes and pots and pans. Comfortable rockers on the front porch let you take in the sound of Cove Creek across the street. Out the back is your own small creek to explore with a bubbling waterfall.

An hour away is family entertainment at the Appalachiah Wild West Theme Park - Tweetsie Railroad - in Blowing Rock, NC. Ride aboard a coal-fired steam engine train on the 3-mile long railroad line through the North Carolina mountains, try the amusement park rides, take the chair lift to Miner’s Mountain and try gold panning and gem mining, or visit the Deer Park zoo.
A little less than an hour away is historic Jonesborogh, the oldest town in Tennessee with its Wetlands Water Park, walking tours, weekend flea market, and Brights Zoo of rare and endangered animals.

Cancellations are subject to a 35.00 fee. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to check-in date will be charged for all reserved days if the cabin is not re-rented.

Pets: Dogs are allowed with a 2 pet/per/cabin maximum. You must receive written permission from Roan Mountain Rentals before arriving with pets. No pets under 1 year old; no pets allowed on beds or on furnishing; you cannot leave pets in the cabin unattended unless they are in a portable kennel (available for rent); and you must walk pets on a leash while on the property. Fees: $50/2 nights; $75/3-5 nights; $100/week.
